In February 2012, Brenda Levin led Trusteeship members on a nostalgic trip through old Los Angeles and, at the same time, described how she and other architects have shaped the historical fabric of LA while preserving its material heritage. Over more than 30 years, Brenda has left her mark on some of Southern California’s most cherished landmarks, including the Griffith Observatory, the Bradbury Building, Grand Central Square and many building on college and university campuses. Over dinner at the nearby Spice Table restaurant, members and guests engaged in lively conversation about Brenda’s presentation, which included fascinating facts and images from the past and present.
