Join us as we take a peak behind the curtains at today’s Natural History Museum of Los Angeles….Spiders and all!
A special thanks to Trusteeship member, Lori Bettison-Varga, the museum’s President & Director, who has put together a fun evening with special, behind the scenes tours to
non-public areas!
The evening will comprise of three tour options (one tour per visitor) from Museum curators, Regina Wetzer, Kirk Fitzhugh, and Greg Pauly who will lead us behind the scenes.
Tours:
- Marine Invertebrates (possibly crustaceans)
- Polychaetes Annelida (segmented marine worms-much more beautiful and interesting than that sounds!)
- Herpetology (reptiles and amphibians)
Timing:
5:30-6:15 pm Arrival time
6:30 pm Tours will begin after a a brief introduction and will be about 45 minutes in length.
7:15 pm A delicious dinner will be served in the museum Board room.
8:30 pm Dinner concludes
