Dear Trusteeship Sisters,
As summer comes to an end, we can finally enjoy the cool, crisp autumn evenings and break from the extreme heat. I hope your summer was filled with beautiful memories.
I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has agreed to host fall Dine-arounds and December holiday parties. These events are favorites of our membership and provide opportunities for us to meet new fabulous women and enjoy each other’s company.
Congratulations to the Membership Committee, and thank you to everyone who submitted nominations! We have invited 31 extraordinary women to join The IWF-Trusteeship. So far, 22 women have accepted, and we await a resolution for the remaining balance. Congratulations to Jennifer Ferro and Aradhna Oliphant for exceeding the goal of 20 new members from diverse backgrounds.
In January, we will celebrate all new members from 2020 through 2025 by hosting the New Member Welcome Gathering as we kick off the new year. Stay tuned for details.
We are excited to announce that we will host our first community event during Women’s History Month in March 2025.
Wishing everyone an excellent September, and I encourage you to enjoy time with each other whenever possible.
xo,
Linda

Andrea Van de Kamp
Save the date! Andrea will be honored by the Downtown Women’s Center at their “Every Woman Housed Gala” on Sunday October 6, 2024.
As an early board member of the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC), Andrea helped prepare the organization for the opening of a first-of-its-kind apartment building that would offer housing and supportive services for women with histories of homelessness. In addition to her board leadership, she was a regular volunteer in DWC’s drop-in Day Center, preparing meals and gathering donations to distribute to women in need.
Andrea has continued to support DWC as they’ve embarked on a significant housing expansion in Skid Row and across Greater Los Angeles. Her leadership has left a lasting impact on DWC—and made our city a markedly different place for Angelenos to live.

Jennifer Keller
Jennifer and seven of her firm’s partners have been selected for the 2025 “Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America“
According to Lawdragon, “These lawyers win hundreds of millions, billions even. They win rights, or lose them. They win freedom, or lose it for someone. They have the abilities to change businesses and entire industries. It’s an audacious thing a trial lawyer does: to tell a judge, jury or other arbiter, ‘Hear me. Believe me. Rule for my client.’”
