The Trusteeship

Spring 2025

Dear IWF – The Trusteeship Sisters,

What a dynamic first quarter it has been! Despite the challenges, we’ve managed to stay connected and support one another, which has been truly inspiring.

A highlight has been the chance to meet so many of our incredible new members. From our gathering at Union Station in January to the dine-around events and various programs, we’ve had wonderful opportunities to connect with the amazing women who’ve joined us.

Just last week, we kicked off our virtual spotlight events to get to know our new members even better. Interviewed by our very own Jennifer Ferro, the first event featured five remarkable women: Leticia Buckley, Fesia Davenport, Rita McBride, Jennifer Price-Letscher, and Summer Stephan. If you weren’t able to join, be sure to watch the video!

These spotlight events will continue throughout the year, and we look forward to introducing the remaining 12 members of the Class of 2025.

I encourage you all to reach out to new members, invite them to events, or set up a coffee or meal to get to know them better. It’s a great way to make them feel welcome and build lasting connections.

We are now entering the process of vetting candidates for our Class of 2026. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already submitted names!

Our membership is truly what makes us special and strong. Many of us have formed lifelong friendships, and we continue to enjoy the company of extraordinary women from all walks of life—women we may never have crossed paths with otherwise.

Grateful for you.

xo,

Linda

“When I joined The Trusteeship, I had spent my whole life in government service and nonprofit organizations. The Trusteeship has introduced me to previously unfamiliar worlds (corporate, military, film, international) and the wonderful women who populate them, and in the process helped me better appreciate their work and my own.”
