The Trusteeship welcomed “home” two former Adrienne Hall Emerging Leadership Award winners, Cynthia Sanchez, Executive Director of Proyecto Pastorale and Lynn Houston, Founder & CEO of A Different Point of View. Along with these former awardees, Trusteeship member, Wendy Garen, President & CEO of the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation graciously moderated an informal panel about the changes in philanthropy and the non-profit world. Our own Chris Essel, President & CEO of Southern California Grantmakers helped to round out the panel.
Additionally, the panel engaged in a discussion about how philanthropists, activists and non-profit organizations are partnering to achieve greater impacts in critical areas of need.

Thank you to hostess Marcia Hobbs for sharing her wonderful private club, the Bel Air Bay Club, Lower Club in Pacific Palisades with all of us. What a spectacular location! We all enjoyed the mussels, swordfish, chicken, tomato watermelon, kale and butter lettuce salads…oh, and of course, the awesome Hot Fudge Sundae Bar!
