Lynn Schenk and Gayle Tauber

Lynn along with Gayle and Philip Tauber met in late June and discussed the idea of a political ad featuring Joe Biden at the mic encircled by a diverse group of Americans with U.S. flags lined up behind them. They envisioned them speaking out, loud and proud, the preamble of the U.S. Constitution beginning with: “We the People.” Lynn relayed the idea to the Biden campaign. On the opening night of the virtual Democratic Convention, after the opening greeting, a video displaying their idea of a diverse group of Americans reciting “We the People” was shown.

“The Trusteeship is a wonderful refuge — a place to go that is safe, nurturing and supportive. A place where you can suspend time — where the pressures and demands of your daily routine become secondary to the sharing of confidences and passions with women that walk similar paths and know your challenges and triumphs.”

– Rita
