The Trusteeship

Alvin Ailey Dance Theater – The Music Center – March 9

We were treated to an unforgettable evening of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at The Music Center. With special thanks to new member Rachel Moore, President and CEO, as well as Board Chair, Lisa Specht for making our evening a tremendous success.  45 Trusteeship members and friends joined in the fun.

Our evening will began with a pre-performance reception at Kendall’s Brasserie and Bar in a private space where the food was tremendous and the wine delicious. It is here where we met a few members of the dance theater as they spoke with our group about the performance and then we attended the show!

The performance included a West Coast premiere of a ballet called Deep, which was be quite exciting and then the show closed with Revelations, which is always a crowd pleaser.

During the two intermissions, we were special be guests of The Music Center  (thanks to Lisa and Rachel) and all enjoyed the private Founders Room with wine, champagne and sparkling water. What a special treat!

It was an evening we all won’t soon forget!

“I am cloistered in my medical world. If not presented with a large, prospective, randomized study I question the evidence and relevance of many medical and societal conclusions. The Trusteeship is neither large nor randomized, but it is the most relevant, outstanding and compassionate group of women I have ever met.”
